This is the tenet of modern secularism philosophy, you absolute ham sandwich. … We didn't invent this equality doctrine until very recently.

🚨 🚨 retard alert confirmed 🚨 🚨

Possibly the earliest affirmation of the maxim of reciprocity, reflecting the ancient Egyptian goddess Ma'at, appears in the story of "The Eloquent Peasant", which dates to the Middle Kingdom (c. 2040–1650 BCE): "Now this is the command: Do to the doer to make him do."

One should never do something to others that one would regard as an injury to one's own self. In brief, this is dharma. Anything else is succumbing to desire. — Mahābhārata 13.113.8 (Critical edition) The Mahābhārata is usually dated to the period between 400 BCE and 400 CE.[10][11]

In Chapter 32 in the Book of Virtue of the Tirukkuṛaḷ (c. 1st century BCE to 5th century CE), Valluvar says:

Do not do to others what you know has hurt yourself. — Kural 316[12] Why does one hurt others knowing what it is to be hurt? — Kural 318[12]

The Golden Rule in its prohibitive (negative) form was a common principle in ancient Greek philosophy. Examples of the general concept include:

"Avoid doing what you would blame others for doing." – Thales[14] (c. 624 – c. 546 BCE) "What you do not want to happen to you, do not do it yourself either." – Sextus the Pythagorean.[15] The oldest extant reference to Sextus is by Origen in the third century of the common era.[16]

Not to mention the obvious one.

> mfw 4000+ year old religions (the oldest recorded) are “modern secularism” just because some gaytheist is woefully uninformed.

Capitalism is the NAME we have … arbitrarily defined

And they were all different. That's the key point. There are a thousand sky and rain gods, but a triangle

Is only called a triangle in English.

You cannot be such a faggot that you pull out philosophical musings and try to pass them off as religious commandments.

Show me the religion whose names and trappings have reemerged time and again throughout history, seperated by space, in the same way math has been independently discovered and agreed upon by every developed peoples in human history, and you'll convince me on the spot.

And fuck off with trying to "ERM akshually" the name. I SAID the name is different but the concept and trappings of the triangle remain the same. Read the fucking reply, you daft cunt.

Riiiiiight. So ignoring the fact you’re a hypocritical retard for the rest of this comment:

For the third time now champ:

And I say again, the philosophical musing of "don't do things to people you don't want done to you" is not a religion. It has no gods, no rituals, no trappings, no priests, and no structure. You may as well quote that "don't steal or murder" have always found their way into our legal systems as well, and thus god.

So, kindly, fuck off, faggot. You have no leg to stand on calling anyone a hypocrite.

the ancient Egyptian god: "Now this is the command

> mfw commands from a god aren’t religious commandments. Your intellect is subhuman.
