Did you think they were going to stop funding Ukraine? This wasn't taking advantage of a distraction, this was always going to happen.
The timing is the difference, it always is.
You could be right, but Ukraine funding doesn't seem like something anyone in government was bearish about.
If Kirk didn’t just get killed, the uproar for the next week or so would be the spending. It’s opportunistic, just as the gun “control” push by every leftist over the killing.
