Please note that there is not only a raging fire in the front of WTC 7, but that it's also damaged, and also the buildings in the foreground have been damaged by debris as well.
Some of the external beams of the main WTC 1 ripped through the face of the side of the building while other debris plummeted through the roof. The damage was extensive enough that it made collapse likely due to the fact that WTC 7 was built with it's outer structure as the main support to fit it's large generator internally. Damage to the face of the building was structural. Damage through the central area damaged all of the floor joists. No jet fuel doesn't turn steel into liquid metal, but what it does do is weaken the structural integrity of steal to the point where it can flex, bend, and warp. Given the the fires (which came from WTC 1's debris) weaking most of the floor joists and supports, and given the damage to the external support structure, and the massive weight of the generator, it made collapse highly likely. Given the severe casualties taken by the NYFD, the fact that the building had been evacuated, the severity of the initial fire, the damage and fires to all of the surrounding buildings, and the inability to safely maneuver through the debris field, WTC 7's fire suppression efforts were abandoned, meaning it's situation continued to decay until it finally collapsed.
None of the buildings collapsed into their own footprint. Not one. WTC 1 & 2's collapsed severely damaged all the buildings around the site, impaled the Post office with a 40 foot hole, and managed to cause fires in a nearby hotel. WTC 7 was much closer:
