Because of DNA, we've known who the US unknown soldier is for many years. The memorial stands as a point. It's clear there's no respect for this point.
IIRC, we know 2 of them, but I don't think all of them. The Vietnam veteran was recovered, and I think the WW2 veteran was identified, but I don't think the WW1 veteran is known yet.
I know that when I was brought as a child, it was the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. When I was brought as a teeny bopper, it was the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, but his name is ----. That's DC.
