What's ironic is that nobody liked the "game original" White Spider outfit for Peter either in the first game. It was one of the reasons why the movie suits were so highly requested even before release and the plethora of alternate skins were made available.

But this is way more egregious, as everything else is with Miles and this sequel.

Insomniac made one good-ish game here, and immediately sold it out for every bit they could. Including literally going back and retconning Peter Parker in said good-ish game to make him "totally not" Tom Holland.
