But she's also like 90 years old and predictably delulu and out-of-touch.
She wrote Oryx & Crake which was a apocalyptic fiction novel about the last living human called Snowman wandering the Earth after consumerism & genetic engineering runs amok. I remember liking it a long time ago, but would fear re-reading it again to see how subversive it probably was.
