Add HR departments to the list of people it is physically impossible to feel sorry for.
If they weren't already on your list...
I used to marvel at how popular gladiatorial games where and wonder how people could not feel bad for the competitors.
Then I imagined a dozen HR Harpies trying to educate a lion on the evils of his patriarchal values, or 100 Journos all shouting in unison to the crowd that the gorilla is mostly peaceful whilat he snaps their colleague's femur.
Now I'm ready to invest in the arena construction.
