The entire game had no creativity in their gameplay and story. All the gameplay were shades of Fall Scrolls with parts shuffled or taken out. The skill tree was the most noticeable as it consisted of adding back normal skills and UI parts that were default from the previous games. Hell, most of the ship tree was just unlocking buyable items from stores.
The only way to make the game fun was to do a complete remodel akin to No Man’s Sky and I don’t think Microsoft cares enough for that.
For years, I have judged what games to buy by mod count.
Not even what mods, just that fans put effort into it with no compensation is enough to tell me whether it is worth buying for more than a 3 dollar sale bargain.
I agree. Todd Howard really out did himself with that game. A vast world filled with unique planets, and unique and memorable factions whose ideals players still argue about. Though my favorite part was the Quantum Radio, that you could use to talk to people and avoid loading screens.
im still kinda upset at starfield lol. no way in hell they can fix that game since almost every aspect of it sucks.

The fact modders gave up on it, says everything anyone needs to know about it.
Couldve had planets of bikini elves walking around with bouncing titties while offering happy times.

Todds magnus opus doesn't need fixing
