There are around 25x more Switches out there than Switch 2 right now. Could just be a matter of Nintendo forcing developers to make games that they can sell to 100% of the install base instead of games that only run decently for ~4% of potential players. Then rely on a couple of big first-party titles to push the Switch 2 into more hands before opening it up to more devs?
