They are still a conquered nation though. Pretty passive
Because life was pretty nice for them so far. Once hardships people become increasingly more active. Some more than others. Only question is when do they reach their breaking point? And I don't think it'll be nearly as far off as it has been for Europeans.
They have stronger expectations of good public behavior and conformity. I think they might break faster.
