If you expect engagement from YT now you are about 10 years too late. Channels don't organically grow anymore, the algorithm doesn't let that happen. I've got 4 subs, 5 videos posted, and all of them are just me playing Mechwarrior 5: Mercs.
Theres more to it than that, but its been known that they have some weird censorship systems over there. Some comments are just insta hidden if you say negative stuff or the wrong word.
I know nobody wants to watch a video about some dudes work injury, but I watched it myself, my partner watched it, couple other family members said they watched it. I remember one of them saying I sounded "angry". Lmao, yeah angry, betrayed, shocked, im sure a few other emotions Im forgetting as well.
But 3/4 of the videos show 0 views, really strange.
