No video was ever produced about how VHS worked, we didn't have the technology back then.

But we totally landed on the moon. They just had to reuse that tape of one of the most historic events in human history because they had to record something else, or something.
EDIT: This is weird one. I don't care about downvotes, but this was +11/-1 or thereabouts when I went to bed. I've never seen a swing like that, but I get it.
For the record, I was mostly memeing, although it is weird the footage was deleted. Like with many historical happenings, there are many questions, though, and plenty of sketchiness from the government. The moon stuff was just the first thing that popped into my head when talking about no video being produced, though.
So why are America's geopolitical rivals in on the conspiracy? Why is it up to some guy on the internet to uncover this fraud and not China or Russia?

For the record I was being mostly tongue-in-cheek (although it is insane we don't have the actual moon landing footage), but yeah, the fact that our rivals went along with at the time, if it were fake, is certainly a challenge to the theory.
