Okay, it looks like I had bad information. It turns out that you can serve in a foreign military without losing your US citizenship. However, if you become an officer or NCO, then you could lose it, but it has to be considered with evidence that you intend to relinquish your citizenship. Stupidly, congress was supposed to approve your service, but that provision was removed in 1986.
I think what i was thinking of was that all US military personelle are barred from military service.
So, we obviously understand why US troops shouldn't serve in foreign militaries, but we good if US citizens serve in them without even an investigation (let alone letting them serve in congress)?
We have American-born IDF soldiers representing Americans in Congress.
Heck, one of them chairs the House Foreign Affairs Committee, and showed up to Congress in a foreign military uniform.

I didn't. I said that they'd lose their citizenship which I didn't mind.
