My dad suggested I become a cop, once. Now, boomer that he is, wasn't thinking anywhere near in depth at the whole mountains of shit modern cops have to deal with because of retarded decisions by both the general public and various levels of the police and govs handling them, so I simply dismissed the idea and didn't start wading into a likely never ending discussion about just why being a cop is less than a thankless task now.
