So like half of the dysfunctional kids in America, except he had a shit ton of money and stability to fall back on from that father regardless. Most of them had zero dad to even meet and a mom on all the drugs possible, so he is doing quite well relatively.
I want to feel for the kid, because that does destroy your world mentally and the money doesn't make all of that go away either.
