The Eskimos in real life are one of the few arctic tribal people and they are all pretty brown/red like all Native Indians are, and were the basis for all of those in the show.
The same way the Fire people were roughly North/East Asians and the Air were SEAsian types. Which is why casting a Vietnamese into the Fire Nation is retarded on a whole different level beyond how ugly she looks.

True, that's a Geography fail on my part because I thought Tibet/Nepal were south of China and not West.
