Lip-Bu Tan was complicit in illegally giving China technology to make their own CPU/GPU chips (while at Cadence Design Systems in the 2010s), whereas these nVidia chips are commodities that China is paying dearly for (apparently from prices in the video, a 3x markup) and are delaying the development of China's own chips and software.
Apples and oranges.
The big companies like Google and Facebook already are making or have their own AI hardware in their datacenters. China can too but it's better if they pay extra for our chips instead of us forcing them to make their own.
You missed the entire point of my post. Trump is corrupt.
