If you commit a crime on us soil then you can be punished by US law. She is on US soil, an US citizen and allegedly defamed someone.

That aside, this could be exploited. How long until pajeets start suing en masse?

On the other hand, can you be jailed in UK for hate-speech despite the law in US protecting your speech while being in US?
