It's designed to be a pavlov's dog effect where the population is conditioned enough so that when they hear 'far right' they are conditioned to think 'bad thing' and not listen to the arguments or statements. The thing they didn't count on is that conditioning is only as effective as their trust and they're as trusted as fox in a henhouse.
It wouldn't surprise me if instead they try 'communism' as that label in Japan given they are WAY more anti commie than anti far right but this is only as effective as how much the source claiming it is and the public there seem too anti immigrant to care.
