I understand some small percentage of women are capable of dealing with these matters in a way that doesn't destroy society but it's too rare to grant this power to all women.
I agree, but I'll go a step further and say that even in a homogeneous society most men don't have the necessary aptitude to make decisions at a societal level.
Most people should be making decisions for themselves and their children, and only they should be making those decisions, unless those decisions affect others. The only case that should really change is if a person is repeatedly shown to make decisions that harm others, or voluntary associations working together toward a common goal.
