Deviants are often attracted to extremes. This one is apparently attracted to corpses.
There's always people attracted to "the other" or "the strange" or the just plain "forbidden". Then there's the "uncanny valley" too.
Thrill seekers (excitement junkies) will go after these things, or do it to themselves to the point of self-mutilation. Being women, they'll also demand it of others too, so they'll feel like they are "part of the chic clique" of bossgirls and not some twisted idiot.
