In 2022 Disney made a Chip n Dale Rescue Rangers movie. The conceit was the original show was a filmed show, and the characters actors. Similar to Toontown from Rescue Rangers.
In the cartoon there was a group of friends that solved mysteries; Chip and Dale chipmunks, Monterey Jack a rat, Zipper a bug, Gadget a female mouse.
In the movie after the show the actors go their seperate ways. Except during the "filming" of the cartoon Gadget and Zipper fell in love. They get married and had a bunch of kids.
