There's been a lot of that. Media presenting it as the gay/trans is the victim, but in fact was the aggressor all along.
A UK story from a decade or so back had an 'openly gay student' stabbed to death in class by another student. It turns out that the "gay child" was a lifelong bully with his circle of fellow gay bullies. He'd been harassing the stabber for at least 2 years. Daily physical attacks, threats of rape, the whole 10 yards. The teachers did absolutely nothing, of course, and attached his parents for being 'homophobes' whenever they stood up for their son.
iirc every kid interviewed said they were happy he was dead, they all hated/feared him. That really says something!
