i think the critical misunderstanding here is that we fundamentally understand our situation differently. i'm of the "no political solution" opinion, because i've studied the decades leading up to where we are now and have seen how censorship, genocide, and political mass-propaganda existed quite a bit before the words "payment processor" were even put together.
i've been deplatformed/harassed myself for having right-wing views, i was there when Domina got booted off Steam because the changelogs told people not to wear masks, i personally know (both of, and personally) several indie devs who seem like they want to be right-wing but end up having to allow pornsick children discuss fetishes in their communities for fear of backlash, i've seen communities of all kinds be outright taken over via admin coup because the hosting services are all left-friendly (i.e. Discord, which will ban you for bad words but not the leftie doxxing you), etcetera...
to me, the notion that anything for me has gotten worse because some sex games got removed is just laughable, and i say that not to mock you for thinking otherwise but just to explain my reaction.
we, and i think i can include you here because you're probably not a furry leftie or anything like that, are probably objectively not in any worse position just because sex games are on the chopping block. here's why, exactly:

porno games can't reasonably be included under the umbrella policy of "free speech" anymore than paki rape gangs can be included under the umbrella policy of "freedom of expression". porn is so harmful that even normie studies agree. you have Joe Scientist studying dopamine deficiencies, you have Bob Anthropologist studying hypergamy as a result of porn addictions, you have John Right-Winger who mocks furries online, you have Reverend Whoever calling it self-abuse... there isn't a type of studied, informed person on Earth who disagrees that porn is harmful.

it doesn't mark any increase of power from them to actually deplatform us. we are already social pariahs. any right-wing game that openly mocks leftism, or tells you who the first soviets were, or debunks any leftist state religion, anything that's not just safe edgy like "haha, commies don't know economy" is already banned by Steam or any other platform without Visa having to lift a finger. again: we are at the bottom of the slope regarding political censorship. we already have to be sneaky, devious, and cunning to get any message out there - just look at how hidden away we have to be on this website, and it wasn't Mastercard who made it so.
