I think he was 💯 % in control of when his last breath would be. I think he said goodbye to his fans and then his family and dosed himself. I wouldn’t wanna live like that either. I wouldn’t wait for it to come for me. 🙌
I'd want to go out with more energy than he had, but he traded energy for time, so I don't blame him.
If doing one last rock and roll concert with your fans and old band mates is the way you're gonna go out, then that's one of the best ways I can think of.
Some people fortunately/unfortunately KNOW or FEEL that death is turning the key in the door. Perhaps he was one of them and decided if he was going out, he was going out with one last show for the fans.
He had a combination of brain damage from the decades of drug abuse, Parkinson's, and still suffering from injuries from a bike accident about 20 years ago.
I'm not sure if he arranged his own death or if his body gave out once he was done with his final performance, the mind can have such an odd influence on the rest of the body. Either way I hope he's at peace.

Yeah, it hit me that he likely had a doctor's date to say goodbye. Then they arranged the final show. It feels like a funeral now.

I actually read somewhere that it was more akin to an assisted suicide. Sharon talked about it I guess and he was getting bad bad leading up to it
Yeah, that's what I've been hinting at. He committed suicide. Only Ozzy would have a funeral with a rocket concert while he was still alive.
I have no doubt that he knew it was time and I don't really want to know the details about exactly how he went out.
