Serial monogamy is socially acceptable polyandry
It allows women to have many psuedo-husbands without being thrown into the slut category.
Polygamy is still seen as male abuse. When a man is sleeping around with scores of women openly he is decried as a predator/abuser (e.g. Leo Decaprio)
