Obama went to elite schools and has enjoyed a prestigious and incredibly enriching political career based more upon his ability to play the race card, his personal connections, and the media carrying water for him than any accomplishment of his own.

Partly true. I thought of pointing to whatever advantage he got by his race. But all in all, I don't think you can compare even someone most privileged by his race (like Kendi) as being privileged nearly to the same extent as someone in a position to marry a Rothschild.

And note that this comment was made before Obama had the media carry water for him as much. At that time, he was elected senator because the GOP candidate imploded (perhaps with the help of his operatives), and people liked his rhetoric.

He is nonetheless incredibly privileged by any normal standard.

Honestly, I've had a pretty normal life, but I think that he was worse off than I am. Maybe he got some advantages based on his race when his education started. Even leaving aside that I don't think these race-based advantages to people any good, I think the blessings of a normal family life are far greater.
