Why the hell do things like "U Visas" exist?
Because they're being the marks Americans won't be? Is it politicians with a "massage parlor" habit who don't want their favorite to go home when the human traffickers are raided by local police?
Everyday I see new government BS that boggles the mind.
Edit:Wrote this before reading down the comments to akira2501's. Apparently it is the massage parlors, though with the claim it is to get them to cooperate with law enforcement, which I'm pretty sure they would do anyway, and they certainly aren't looking up obscure federal visa laws before doing. I would think they would want to go home and not live in a country they were forced to go to.
The massage parlors are just honeypots to get men jailed.
Would explain the ones near me growing up always getting raided and never closed down.
I assumed that it was genuinely a massage parlor and the cops kept ending up empty handed.
