Because illegals will do it for less than minimum wage.
No records and no benefits. And if one dies in a work related accident, no big deal. If most farmers in california are red leaning.. then they are assholes for using illegals. Its 5 months into the admin, these farmers shouldve replace illegals with citizens by now. Ill give those assholes 1 more month (so half year) to hire citizens.. thats as much sympathy id give to these farmers for "imma lose my farm without illegals".. well fucker, shouldve thought of that before relying on them.
