The most perverse thing about this is that they've charged him for not paying his taxes, after he had hired a tax attorney to ensure that he paid the correct exit taxes in an attempt to avoid (in good faith) any legal entanglements with the IRS after leaving the country.
So he asked what he owed, and the IRS wouldn't tell him.
Then he issued a FOIA request to find out what he owed, and they still wouldn't tell him.
They're absolutely positive that he didn't pay enough taxes and they've used that to stack mountains of charges against him, but they can't even tell him what the correct amount was.
Sounds like abusing various state agencies to persecute someone for whatever reason. Classic tactic, shame we can’t use it on people or organizations that are a negative to society.
