'Deutschland 83' is a period spy thriller from 2015, similar to 'The Americans', but made by RTL (a German network). It's about an East German spy, who infiltrates a West German/NATO command center. It's interesting and competently executed, however you immediately notice certain familiar elements involving feminism, rainbows and assorted progressive staples.
In the second season ('Deutschland 86') it gets progressively worse and almost half the cast is turned gay and one of the major themes is apartheid, rofl. You just wanted a spy thriller in the vein of 'The Americans', and instead you get an AIDS pity party, feminist garbage and apartheid propaganda. The plot also devolves into a cheap romance novella for women, complete with quasi-male nudity.
They really know how to ruin a show.
One of the founding elements of Progressive doctrine is that these things "always existed" and it was simply the brutal "oppression" of the past that kept it either suppressed or erased from history. And that in secret they were all super gay and girl power and all that nonsense.
So to their mind, this isn't even political pushing. Its them "revealing the truth of the past" to us plebs to make sure we don't have a history to cling to.
There was a random scene where a female dentist took out a big ex-SAS (or ex something) thug with a wooden statue of a giraffe, saving the main character. I'm hoping the dentist turns out to be a spy or something, because it looked ridiculous.
