Most of the BBC Shakespeare complete series are very good, though there are a few awful ones as well, like Troilus and Cressida. Highly recommended if you're into it.
I don't know much at all about Troilus and Cressida. Have you seen Titus Andronicus with Anthony Hopkins? That movie has such oddball shit happening I swear they were making a horror comedy.
Haven't seen the movie, but I'm familiar with the play. Certainly... interesting. And it might surprise you that this play, which was until recently regarded as utter trash that some people denied Shakespeare wrote it, was one of the more popular plays by Shakespeare in his own time.
I haven't seen the BBC version. For awhile Pacino was playing Shakespeare in the park for like 2 years before he played Shylock in the movie
