Just remember, there is no tea tax here but the tea is quite taxing.
Oh don't worry, I am an outcast among my own people for prefering iced tea anyway. Maybe I was born in the wrong country? A trans-American, you might say.
Everything here is from somewhere else and then made American. Look up sweet tea and iced sweet tea. I know when I am in the South when I see Sweet Tea as a regular option at any gas station or food place.
Interestingly, the south is where a lot of English and Scots settled in the US. Maybe that has something to do with the popularity of tea down there?
There have been English and Scots all over. Every state has an Aberdeen. It gets confusing. Florida has a Dundee.
