At the very least, we'd have avoided the cold war and 100 million civilians murdered by their own communist governments. Sure, there'd be two new great powers, pre-WW1 Germany+Austria and the expanded Japanese Empire, but neither would be powerful enough to be more than the biggest regional power, dispite all the historical fiction showing alternative WW2 leading to a global empire.
