Electronic paper pushing is basically what white-collar jobs are now. So you can’t blame people (especially women) for not taking it seriously anymore. Covid made this worse.

A realistic solution would be a one-to-two-year mandatory service by requirement in agriculture, mining, construction, military, wood / metalworking, fishing, or transportation. Something that gets your hands dirty.

I know this sounds bonkers, but that would fix this economic detachment issue.
