Thier claims of 'self defense' is based on pure tribal ethnicity - when you talk with these people and dig down into thier reasoning, it basically boils down to 'Well, a White person did THIS(where this is just a superficial understanding of the situation with no bearing on reality), so a black person can do THIS(get revenge for a White person being mean to a black).

They're just saying magic words so they can abuse people not of thier tribe.
