When I was in a Muslim country they all prayed inside the Masjid. Or on Fridays (their version of Sunday services) they would gather on the Masjid grounds and pray on the grass. Never did I see large groups praying at public parks.
On occasion, some workers who couldn't get time away form work would pray in a corner but they were usually alone.
I'm in a relatively muslim country. 4/5 am loudspeakers are a thing. Evenings too.

Were you in Malaysia or Indonesia by any chance?
Unlike the middle eastern and south asian shitholes, those 2 seem like the only muslim countries that aren't causing any issues as far as I know.
the country I was in was Malaysia and they WERE praying through loud speakers.
Iraq, Syria , Iran and Libya were not causing any issues to us as countries either before they were invaded for no real reason , its israel that is causing the problems in the region.
Of course their immigrants are a problem when they are in the West, but that's different from the countries themselves.
