Then bomb it again. They pose no conventional threat to us and they can't stop us from doing it. We can keep stopping them for longer than they can keep doing it.
They have 2000 missiles, or had before this war, and you have 40,000 troop stationed in the Middle East as sitting ducks.
Just because those "suicidal theocratic nutjobs" exercised restraint this time doesn't mean that you get to mess with them indefinitely and expect that you'll never cross a red line.

No conventional threat doesn't mean they can't kill a few thousand dudes, it means that in a conventional war we would obliterate them uncontestedly.
You really don't understand how military analysis works. That's fine, most people don't, but pretending you do is a poor joke.
The point of that line in its context is that we have no need to target their conventional military for our own security. We do need to stop them from getting nukes.
