He gave them 12 hours (or something) I thought that's what he WANTED them to do: get those last "licks" in and then be done with it.
In WW1 both sides knew for days that the war would end at 11:11:11 on November 11th, but they still fired artillery at each other non-stop until that very second, trying to kill as many enemies as they could. :/
I mean, knowing Trump, you'd know that he doesn't like people to die. But I guess the yellow light was enough. He didn't explicitly forbid it.
