Yeah. As much as I shit on Europe now, it is more because I know what they could be and that no matter how much we try to make them actually live up to their past they are apparently more than willing to be a continent that is nothing more than a living (slowly withering away) museum. There are still plenty of people trying to turn it around, but apparently not enough to actually make a difference, and I guess a lot of them are salty that their former colonies are now doing better than them (and one of said colonies now took their spot of ruling the world).

After a certain point, almost anyone would come to decide that its not worth the effort to keep saving someone who doesnt want to be saved and move on with your life. Which is why I am all in on a pivot to Asia/Australia, because as I said they actually positive opinions of us. The Australians are a little more lukewarm, but at least they are actually willing to join us and do what is needed as allies instead of just sitting like a tick on our back.
