Yeah. I'm spinning out. I recognize that.
But am I wrong?
Iran is not my friend. Iran is not my enemy.
They're not suddenly two weeks away from The Bomb (fuck you, Tulsi, by the way). They're not an Existential Threat, and certainly not to America.
There was no reason to bomb Iran. We bombed Iran because...Israel did a "defensive first strike" against them, so now we're in it too.
Fuck off.
Iran is definitely our enemy lmao. It's just not actively attacking us. Yall are going too far in the other direction because Israel is involved. Multiple things can be true at once. Israel is a blood sucking leech, Iran is an enemy, and Iran is not a current threat that we needed to attack
I think the anger is coming from the realization that one of our greatest domestic enemies - a rogue unregistered foreign PAC that openly brags about controlling our elections - is able to direct foreign policy so quickly and easily against their enemies despite strong opposition from a majority of Americans. Iran is our enemy in much the same way that Russia and China are our enemies. Israel is already “inside our base killing our dudes”; they represent a far greater and more immediate compromise of our sovereignty than the distant hostile foreign actors.
This isnt some new information though.
