Dave Smith is being whiny, and should have let things simmer a bit.
Don't you think it's better go for the nuclear option in an effort to prevent shit hitting the fan than waiting for shit hitting the fan and then having to clean up the mess? Politicians do not deserve the benefit of the doubt. As long as politicians aren't more afraid of the people than the rats hiding in the walls nothing will ever change.
Immediately calling Trump scum, a terrible person, and that he should be impeached and jailed is over the top.
I'll have to disagree considering that Trump seems to have used the negotiations as a diversion tactic so Israel could attack Iran unprepared. He's already complicit and already has committed acts of war against Iran. Iran would be completely justified in striking US bases already but fortunately hasn't done so.
As long as Trump surrounds himself with Zionist war hawks you have to get very fucking loud to make yourself heard.
It's not about trusting him or not, it's about not overreacting and sounding ridiculous.
Like I said. Lines have already been crossed. We're well past overreacting.
I agree with almost everything you said, I still just think it wasn't a great reaction. Because it's still kind of wink wink nudge nudge, and we don't know for sure. It's fairly likely Trump knew...but it's also possible he didn't or, if the US was involved, they went behind his back again.
Trump seems stressed as Hell, and that he doesn't like what's going on, but is going along with some of it. Although I also tend to believe the reports that he is trying to disengage, and is holding back on strikes. It fits some of the intel, that got other stuff right like the initial Israeli strikes. I think we'd already be at war if Trump didn't override the plan.
The Israeli strikes had US backing, because everything they do has US backing. That's disgusting, and I utterly condemn it. If Trump knew, I absolutely condemn it. And I do condemn his rhetoric after the fact, too. I like almost nothing that is going on, and I'm not impressed with Trump.
Iran would be completely justified in striking US bases already but fortunately hasn't done so.
Yup. It's never a great position where you just hope your enemy are willing to take it on the chin, and not react, even if they're justified. The US did Fuck Around with Iran, for sure. It would be completely reasonable to Find Out. Hopefully that doesn't happen.
As long as Trump surrounds himself with Zionist war hawks you have to get very fucking loud to make yourself heard.
I get where you coming from. It was a hyperbolic reaction. But deservedly so. And let's be honest it's not like it's going to hurt Trump unless he decides to give in to the Zionists surrounding him. Almost everything about US politics is hyperbolic after all.

Absolutely call out the war. Make it clear you don't want it, and you won't support Trump at that point.
