I think that it’s pretty clear what the joke is?
It's obvious to anyone who isn't familiar with the Babylon Bee. The reason people who are familiar with them are confused is because several Bee employees are exactly the kind of people this article is supposedly mocking.
It kinda surprises me how many people were whooshed by this.
