This one is definitely a Leftist-tier false comparison, which is both how I know that I'm doing something right, and that there is ultimately no meaningful distinction between the shitlibs and GOP.
The women screeching about A Handmaid's Tale being their future have zero material reason to actually believe that will be the future. It's the usual hysterical, histrionic, ignorant bullshit they've been getting away with for longer than I've been alive. The people (guaranteed to be 90%+ young men) saying "I will not fight and die for Israel" have not only the evidence of Israel literally just attacking another country and killing one of its leaders, but also the many decades now of hearing about how important Israel is to the US, all of the politicians going to kiss the Wailing Wall to show allegiance, the special treatment Israel and Jews receive from the American government, and a bazillion little whispering things like when they start putting White men back into military recruitment ads.
Tons of Gen X and Millennials will have their own kids by now, and they grew up watching 20 years of Operation Desert Storm, and Operation Iraqi Freedom, and Operation Enduring Freedom, and all the long dragged-out quagmires of bullshit in a disgusting desert that didn't change anything for the better, especially not at home. In fact, it all got worse. Now they all see that happening again, and so soon after the last one finally ended They do not want to see their children dragged off to still more of that for, once again, the same people crying and demanding we come help them or else we're bigots and antisemites. There simply is no "imaginary" to the threat of endless warring in the Middle East, it's been the standard for our whole lives, and we're extremely tired of it.
This meme stinks of the same intellectual creativity of "Woke Right" and "if you fight and kill your enemies you're just as bad as they are." I don't want to have to wait another 10-20 years for all the Boomers to actually completely die off because I may not even have a country by then. I don't know what a future political party looks like that actually attracts me, and has power enough to get something done. Trump is a man of convenience, but his time is desperately limited, and his power and influence are being constantly constrained and attacked. New parties have come and gone in the US's past, but how often was that during such tumultuous times, politically and socially?
