Spicy given some of the darker jokes it has.

But there is an objective, scientific way to gauge the effects comedy has on us: our laughter. If a film makes us laugh out loud repeatedly, then we can take measurements, right? And if one film makes us laugh 10 times, and another makes us laugh 30 times, then the latter film can be considered the funnier film.

That's not how quantitative and qualitative comparisons work you retard. If a single episode of laughing lasts the entire minute then it stupidly only gets counted as 1 vs however many titters or sensible chuckles something else might rack up in the same time.

As such, to determine the funniest film of all time, one would merely need to gather a panel of test subjects, and then expose them to multiple comedy films, writing down how many times they laughed during a screening. One would then take that number and average out how many times they laughed, per minute of film. The film with the highest number of laughs-per-minute (lpm) would, scientifically, be the funniest ever.

So the measurements involve are retarded, but still produces non retarded results for the most part.

The second-funniest film on the Forbes list was Todd Phillips' 2009 comedy "The Hangover," earning 2.4 lpm

The Hangover is ironically one of those movies that probably couldn't be done again today because the Left would cry various -phobics due to lines such as "Paging Doctor Faggot" and more.

Third funniest was another Zucker-Abrahams-Zucker film, their 1988 cop flick "The Naked Gun: From the Files of Police Squad!," based on their TV series "Police Squad!" The ZAZ team are the only filmmakers whose films appear twice on the list. ("Naked Gun" got 2.3 lpm.)

It's almost like the more legacy aligned entertainment media was good at its job of making media and had actors like Leslie Nielsen, in both Airplane! and the Naked Gun movies, who weren't just quipping topical political soundbites. Or maybe they simply hadn't decided to both forego and attack the white audience who actually went out to see these and pay money.

That all said, fuck this article for not actually mentioning Leslie Nielsen even fucking once in the whole thing.

Do a ctrl+f for Leslie, 0 fucking results found despite 2 of the 3 pics literally including him.
