They try to construct flags and narratives and usually only succeed with a lot of controlling the information until people stop asking, see the Vegas shooting for a great example.

They have penetrated almost all "White Nationalist" and other alt-right type groups, but they don't have total control over every member. Doing so would blow their cover and their entrapment operation, so they can easily be caught off guard and with their pants down when Troy, who spends all day drunk in front of his trailer, finally puts his money where his mouth is and tries to enact Total Nigger Death. And considering how often they feel invincible and in control, slight deviations like that probably cause them to panic and flee. This is almost certainly what actually happened on J6 give or take the details.

The autopsy I remember seeing said cardiac arrest, and that checks out with all the listed factors to be a likely happening. They built an entire narrative out of literally two unrelated events to arrest and shame people into compliance with fear.
