Or Hitler started WWII? Both were "preemptive strikes". Or will pro-Israel people admit that Israel started this and they're the aggressor?
Obviously, pro-Israel people will say Iran was asking for it but that's the same argument pro-Russian and pro-Hitler people use.
This attack should be adequate proof that "who started what" really doesn't matter. I never thought it mattered but I hope everyone else sees that it doesn't matter.
They won't actually care. Pro Iran people also don't actually care.
Historically, no one has really cared who struck first when there was ongoing conflict before. No one thought Israel and Iran were friends. They care when it comes out of nowhere between states that weren't already fighting
They don't even have a peace treaty, they never have. they were both, much like the US and N Korea for decades, officially at war already.
They were actively at war already, a hot war, not a cold war, they have both exchanged significant ordinance, more than most countries have stockpiles of, in the last 18 months. Iran has shot at least 320 ballistic missiles and 30 cruise missiles at Israel and sent 170 drones attacks in that period per Wikipedia. Israel has done airstrikes on Iran or Iranian assets at least 3 times in that period. Whatever the first strike was, it wasn't yesterday.
It is going to be interesting to see pro-Iran NPCs. I don't know that I have. One of the biggest NPCs I know is Jewish and has been crying over Ukraine for months, so it will be fun.
