Israel needs the US to get involved that was always the goal. If Trump/Hegseth are smart they'd pull every American down to the last janitor out of the eastern hemisphere. If Israel can put a bullet into any single US passport holder and blame it on Iran the media will howl for blood until the end of time.

I would be very worried if I were stationed on on any Persian gulf surveillance vessels right now.
