Bryan Burrough's Days of Rage is excellent reading. It especially amazing that all of the events detailed are well within living memory but completely absent form public consciousness. Frankly I felt Burrough was even kind of sympathetic to many of the assholes his book covers, but there were clearly limits to the authors' understanding that ran dry many times throughout the book.
