For those of us who grew up in the areas with next to no Jews, we literally learned every joke and stereotype about Jews from the Jews writing them in network television and movies.

If not for that, I'd wager half of America wouldn't even know Jews existed until they watched the news to hear them whining. And it would still be a blank slate.
